The Language of the Prime Minister

In his weekly column "Max's Column" for TBmagazine, Maxim Behar talks about the difficulties and changes in the Bulgarian economy and business and the only force that counts - experience.

Miracles happen in Bulgaria. And unexpected ones. Out of the blue a prime minister has appeared, and an academic at that, who speaks slowly, carefully, respectfully, and is incredibly well argued for a politician. I have been watching Academician Denkov with quite a lot of attention since his first day in government and I am now really convinced that if there are more people with such language and attitude towards the media and their colleagues, Bulgaria will indeed become a much better place to live and do business. Well, apparently people can enter politics who can set an example, especially an example of iron nerves and concentration on the important things.

And so, it seems to me that it is quite a useful activity to listen carefully to what Academician Denkov is saying. It is a long time since a politician in Bulgaria has used such language and attitude. Whether it will be so in the future, we can only hope.
