Maxim Behar attending the first World Tolerance Summit in Dubai

Maxim Behar in his capacity of Chairman of the Board of Trustees represented Sir James Mancham International Center for Peace Studies and Diplomacy at the firs World Tolerance Summit in Armani Hotel, Dubai. The invitation was extended personally to Mr. Behar by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

The World Tolerance Summit (WTS) gathers government leaders, key figures, ambassadors and change-makers from all over the world. The aim of the summit is to make a discussion about the importance of tolerance, peace and equality. What is more, WTS celebrates the diversity among the people, regardless of their political, cultural or religious understandings.

The invitation to Mr. Behar was a clear message for the international recognition of Sir James Mancham International Center for Peace Studies and Diplomacy. This gave him the unique opportunity not only to promote the center but the lovely Republic of Seychelles as well.

During the WTS Maxim Behar met people from almost 100 countries all over the world. A lot of them remembered deep in their hearts Sir James Mancham and were happy that Sir James Mancham International Center for Peace Studies and Diplomacy exists and is sharing internationally its legacy and peace.

Among the people Mr. Behar had a meeting with were His Highness Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, the Minister of Tolerance of UnitedArab Emirates, the EU Ambassador to UAE Patrizio Fondi, former State Minister for Women's Affairs in Jordan Nadia Hashem, with David Frazer Harris, Secretary General for EMEA at the Universal Peace Federation, James Patton, President of International Center for Religion and Diplomacy, Dr. Liviu Olteanu Secretary General of Ambassadors for LIberty, Hope and Peace, Keiji Kunitomi, Secretary-General of The World Conference of Religions for Peace in Japan, and many others.
